Tekken 8 teased at Evo 2022 Directly after this trailer end, we see Harada, jumping on top of and shaking around the hosts of Evo 2022, before quickly vanishing into the night. Harada drops the Tekken 8 tease, memes on the Evo 2022 hosts, and then dips Kazuya stares through the screen, a half smirk on his face, and a red eye staring us down before the words: "Get Ready" burst on the screen. Then, out of nowhere the footage shifts from the PS1 graphics of Kazuya to the exact same pose but with current-gen graphics. The clip shows Kazuya throwing his father, Heihachi Mishima, off the edge of a cliff, plummeting to the depths below. The short clip shows footage of Kazuya's ending from the first ever Tekken game that was released onto PS1 consoles. Even with all this exciting information, the best part comes at the end of the trailer in the form of a six-second clip. As well as the announcement of the Tekken World Tour global finals that will take place in Amsterdam next year. We then see that some new ways to fight have been incorporated, with new tactics for players to take advantage of and deal the maximum amount of damage to their opponents. The trailer announces some balancing updates for Tekken 7, which should provide players with fairer and smoother fights than before. The Tekken 7 trailer (which can be viewed above) was unveiled at Evo 2022 and houses a bunch of exciting information for fans of this legendary fighting series to dissect.
